I was born without arms and legs, but I have never allowed my circumstances to determine my future.
Throughout my life I have learned to adapt, overcome challenges, earn a Bachelor's degree in Human Services and a Master's degree in Psychology, raise two amazing children, drive using adaptive controls, participate in adaptive sports, recover from major neck surgery, overcome abuse, and continue living a Fun filled life with faith, purpose, determination, and joy.
Those experiences inspired me to establish Beneficial Lifestyles Ministries, Inc., a faith-based nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering individuals and families through education, disability advocacy, employment readiness, charitable assistance, motivational speaking, and community outreach.
Whether I'm speaking at a conference, hosting Wendy's World, helping someone find life-changing resources, or encouraging a person who feels like giving up, my mission is the same:
To help people discover hope, overcome challenges, and realize there really is no such thing as "can't."
